Talented actress Konkona turns 29

After essaying the role of a disconsolate journalist in the award winning flick ‘Page 3’ there was no looking back for the much talented actress Konkona Sen Sharma.

Born on 3 December, 1979 to Mukul Sharma a writer-journalist and actor-writer-director Aparna Sen, Konkana has a adapted many qualities of both father and mother. Konkona's graduate degree was in English, from St. Stephen's College, Delhi in 2001. She was a student of the Modern High School for Girls, Calcutta, as well as the Calcutta International School.

Koko (nickname) became a known face when she starred in the film ‘Mr and Mrs. Iyer’, directed by her mother. She became a darling amongst the critics, her performance got her the National Film Award for Best Actress.

Now, that’s certainly a mast Bollywood jodi in making.

Unlike, the regular Bollywood celeb couples like Saifeena, John-Bipasha and Lara-Dino they chose to close guard their ‘private’ affair and not mint money by publicising it. In several occasions they just exchange fleeting glances. Well, guess, that’s why we love the duo so much.
