Sushmita and Mudassar Aziz are still together

The rumors about Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen break-up with her Dulha Mil Gaya director Mudassar Aziz has been doing rounds since a while now and they are not in talking terms.

But putting a rest to all these rumors director Mudassar Aziz exclaims,” I don’t know what media is stating about our relationship in fact we never disclosed about our relationship in public to begin with. Without keeping us in loop media keeps on changing our relationship status which is ridiculous.”

On asking Mudassar whether they are still together, he says, “I don’t want to name our relationship but I would say we- are two personalities who have a lot of respect and affection for each other and we continue to have that.”

Bipasha is hoping for a productive year

Delhi girl Bipasha Basu returned to her roots to bring in her birthday on January 7. Bipasha’s soul-mate and hopefully her lifelong companion John Abraham accompanied her to Delhi.

“This was my first birthday in Delhi. I’ve very special links with that city. I was born in Delhi. So when I got a chance to be in the Capital for my birthday I grabbed it. To make it even better it was seriously cold in Delhi. I love the winter weather.”

The couple flew back to Mumbai in time for Bipasha’s family birthday lunch. John was not invited to the family lunch. As far as birthdays go there’s a serious problem between Bipasha and John.

Bipasha is hoping for a productive year.

Kareena won’t celebrate her birthday with beau Saif

Kareena won’t be celebrating her birthday with beau Saif Ali Khan as the actress will be shooting for ‘3 Idiots’ with Aamir Khan.

According to the latest B-town buzz, Kareena wanted to spend some quality time with her mother Babita, sister Karisma and beau Saif on her birthday, however, with misfortune struck Aamir, Kareena swiftly came to his rescue.

With Aamir’s wife Kiran Rao suffering a miscarriage, the actor took a break from the grueling schedule of ‘3 Idiots’ to help Kiran to recover from the excruciating trauma.

Now, both Aamir and Kareena will be shooting for the song from September 25 to October 2 in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan has taken a sabbatical from work and is spending quality time with brokenhearted Kiran.

Rakhi Sawant essaying a good role in Dil Bole Hadippa

The controversial actress Rakhi Sawant is essaying a good role in the up coming flick Dil Bole Hadippa.

“I portray the character of Shanno who is a big nautanki. She is bindaas and a different but strong girl. I had a great time shooting with Rani and Shahid in the film. There is also a dance sequence where Rani flirts with me in a song,” says Rakhi.

There is Sherlin too in the movie so was there any competitive environment for you?

“My competition is with the biggies of the industry like Ash, Kareena and Rani Mukherjee not with small time actress,” she stated in an interview with an entertainment channel.

You have done an item song too in the film. “Yes it was with Rani as I said earlier and we had a gala time while shooting it,” she concludes.

With her upcoming film Dil Bole Hadippa soon to release, Ms Sawant is flying high.

Imran Khan not keen to work with Aishwarya

Imran Khan is the latest heartthrob in tinsel town and there are many actresses who would love to be paired opposite him. But the two-film-old Imran Khan would rather share screen space with Kareena Kapoor than Aishwarya Rai.

“No,” said Imran when asked whether he is keen to work with former beauty queen-turned-actress Aishwarya. “I’m most keen to work with Kareena. Both of us shot for a chat show last week and I had great fun,” Imran told reporters here Thursday.

Imran, who also came here to promote his upcoming film “Luck”, not only hugged young girls but also 50 plus women when they screamed out his name in excitement and cheered every time he flashed a smile for the shutterbugs.

Though Imran looked little embarrassed due to all the attention he was getting, he loved every bit of his interaction with the fans.

John and Katrina are most eligible single celebrities

Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham and sexy lady Katrina Kaif have been voted as the most eligible single celebrities in an online poll. The poll was conducted by a matrimonial website.

The poll results saw responses from more than 18,000 netizens - a statement from the company said on Friday. Nearly 48 percent of males voted for Katrina and 43 percent females named John as the most eligible bachelor.

John topped the poll scoring over hunks like Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rahul Gandhi, MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. And among the females, Katrina won over B-town divas like Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor.

Sreesanth-Minissha spotted smooching

While a lot of Bollywood stars have come down to Macau to make the IIFA awards to be more than a Bollywood extravaganza, cricketer S Sreesanth is busy combining business with pleasure. This Indian cricketer was recently seen playing a game of love with Bollywood's beautiful lady Minissha Lamba.

According to reports, On Day-2 of the IIFA Awards, both were indulged in a rather candid public display of affection at the casino bar of the hotel holding all the guests.

Sreesanth spent nearly two hours at the casino. Minissha cheering him on every time he put his money on the roulette.

Upcoming star Sonakshi rejects Salman Khan

Newcomer actress Sonakshi Sinha was all set to start work on her acting debut opposite Salman Khan, but recent reports say that the former model has quit the project.

Reports say that Sonakshi, who is the daughter of yesteryears' actor Shatrughan Sinha, suddenly realised that Salman has been the leading man opposite a number of newcomer actresses, but most of them have remained all but arm candy.

The realisation that the film will focus on Salman's character and her role will be grossly limited, lead Sonakshi to withdraw from the project. She said she wants to make her debut with a more substantial role.

Bipasha learning belly dance for her own pleasure

Bipasha Basu is making sure she fulfils all her dreams before she is too old for them. The diva is all set to swing, twirl and swirl that gorgeous body of hers.

According to sources, the beautiful actress is learning belly dancing not for any film project but for her own pleasure. Bips has taken a month off to fulfil her dream of learning belly dancing. "A month-long holiday fell into my lap when the ‘Lamhaa’ schedule got postponed by a month to April 20,” said Bipasha to a news daily.

The actress is learning to dance not for anyone else but herself. Apart from dancing, the actress is also learning to swim and drive. She is adamant to learn driving to prove to her boyfriend John Abraham that women are better drivers than men.

I’m happy I couldn’t see Jade: Shilpa Shetty

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty says she is glad she couldn’t meet her “Celebrity Big Brother” housemate and cancer-stricken reality TV star Jade Goody - said to be hours away from death - in London as it would have depressed her no end.

“Am happy in a way, I haven’t got to see her (Jade), it would’ve depressed me no end. I always want to remember her smiling, the feisty, strong, gregarious Jade, a true Trooper!” Shilpa said on her blog shilpashettylive.com.

Shilpa had rushed to London Sunday to meet Jade Goody, but was unable to see the ailing star whose condition is deteriorating rapidly due to cervical cancer.

Shilpa was at the receiving end of racial barbs by Jade during the 2007 “Celebrity Big Brother” but the two had made peace soon after.

Ash - Abhi - Amitabh back with home production

Amitabh-Abhishek and Aishwarya will be back after Sarkar Raj with a film being made under their own production company; AB Corps Pvt. Ltd. The film will go on the floors in the second half of the year.

The Bachchans who pride on brandishing the Bachchan brand were initially set on a script that would have Abhi-Ash in the lead, but with Mani Ratnam’s film taking longer than expected to complete the talk is that the Bachchans don’t want another film with the two coming out in quick succession. So they have no zeroed down on a film based on the lives of two aging dons and their quest for survival against the new breed of mafia.

The movie is set in Mumbai and obviously Big B will be playing one of the leads. And they are very keen on roping in Dharmendra who has made a comeback to mainstream Bollywood to play his partner-in-crime. Amitabh personally called Dharmendra and sounded off the project to him and the script has been sent over to the Deol house.

Priyanka Chopra’s two-in-one mantra

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who recently shot for Ashutosh Gowariker’s “What’s Your Raashee”, said she did more “masti” than work on the sets of the film in Chicago as many of her family members living in the US came to meet and spend time with her.

“It was more masti than work. We chose this time to shoot in Chicago because the script needed snow. And we got it in plenty. I love the snow. And since I’ve a lot of family in America I called them over to Chicago. It was more fun than work really.”

Priyanka was glad to have this chance to unwind. “I let Hurman do all the slogging. ‘…Raashee’ is a very taxing film for me. This kind of role has never been done. For the first time in my career I plan to take a two-week holiday after ‘…Raashee’.”

Priyanka's Kaminay will hit the screens on 5th June '05

She donned trendy mini skirts and a bikini in Dostana and was an absolute stunner on the ramp in Fashion, but Priyanka Chopra is going the de-glam way for Vishal Bharadwaj's Kaminay.

Kaminay will be her first release of 2009 as a leading lady after a hectic 2008, which saw her featuring in six back-to-back releases - Love Story 2050, God Tussi Great Ho, Chamku, Drona, Fashion and Dostana.

What makes Kaminay special is that she has got to work with Bharadwaj, a master story teller known for giving his leading ladies a very 'real' lived-in look.

Priyanka stars opposite Shahid Kapur in Kaminay and the actor too is said to have a distinct look. Shahid, known for his chocolate boy image, plays a double role, and one of the characters played by him not just stammers but also keeps an unkempt look.

But audiences will have to wait to see their makeovers until June 5, when Kaminay will hit the screens.

Kareena, Shahid back together in Milenge Milenge

Kareena Kapoor, who had parted ways with her longtime boyfriend Shahid Kapur more than a year ago, will be seen opposite her ex-beau in a new film that had been pending for a while.

Kareena and Shahid have begun the dubbing for their film Milenge Milenge directed by Satish Kaushik. After the couple's break up the dubbing had come to a halt. Now when things have got stabilised the two have given their nod for dubbing.

Shahid has already completed his portion and now Bebo is about to dub for her part. This means that Shahid-Kareena fans will get to see the Jab We Met pair soon on screen.

No make-up for Katrina in 'Rajneeti'

Everyone is aware that Bollywood's reigning queen Katrina Kaif has decided to shed her glamorous look for Prakash Jha's upcoming film Rajneeti but the grapevine has it that her role in the film is based on Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

The Welcome and Race starrer is currently busy shooting for the flick in Bhopal and the tall actress was spotted wearing crisp cotton sarees during her shoot. Katrina's look in the film has a lot of resemblance to UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, in fact her style of walking and campaigning too reminds one of Sonia Gandhi.Reports also suggest that Katrina has been asked to undergo voice modulation.

Katrina plays the leader of JSP (Jan Shakti Party) and her name is Indu Behna, who goes on to become a Chief Minister. Katrina's role in Rajneeti demands that she sheds her glamorous image, so, for the first time the actress will be seen without make-up.

Real-life couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are going to share some intimate moments in their untitled film directed by Renzil D'Silva for Dharma Productions.

According to uncomfirmed sources, Saif and Bebo shot for their kiss, which was part of a song, in a studio. The actress, who has done kissing scene with former beau Shahid Kapur, was quite comfortable with the idea of lip-locking with her beau.

But the couple got the kiss right only in about five takes, way to go.

Asian weekly declared Katrina as ‘The Sexiest Woman in Asia’

Katrina Kaif has won yet another poll. An Asian weekly has named her the ‘Sexiest Woman in Asia’. This is the second poll that she has won in the past month, the last one being the ‘Sexiest Woman’ by FHM magazine. Then, she had left behind names like Angelina Jolie, Madonna and Scarlett Johansson to win the prize. This time she has nudged last year’s winner Bipasha Basu to the second place.

Among the top ten women, eight are Indian names. And another surprise in the list is that Mallika Shwerawat has been ranked above Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Bollywood bombshell Sherawat is in the 6th place, while the former beauty queen could manage a mere seventh position. Talented actress Konkona turns 29

After essaying the role of a disconsolate journalist in the award winning flick ‘Page 3’ there was no looking back for the much talented actress Konkona Sen Sharma.

Born on 3 December, 1979 to Mukul Sharma a writer-journalist and actor-writer-director Aparna Sen, Konkana has a adapted many qualities of both father and mother. Konkona's graduate degree was in English, from St. Stephen's College, Delhi in 2001. She was a student of the Modern High School for Girls, Calcutta, as well as the Calcutta International School.

Koko (nickname) became a known face when she starred in the film ‘Mr and Mrs. Iyer’, directed by her mother. She became a darling amongst the critics, her performance got her the National Film Award for Best Actress.

Now, that’s certainly a mast Bollywood jodi in making.
